SORAT BUSINESS / LEGAL
Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms apply to use of soratbusiness.com and inquiries to Sorat Business. Specific paid work is governed by the written proposal or service agreement accepted for your project.
1. Using this website
Use this website lawfully and provide accurate information when contacting us. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the site's operation, submit malicious material or use the site to infringe another person's rights.
You should be authorized to act for any business on whose behalf you request services. Sending an inquiry does not by itself create a client relationship or authorize work.
2. Quotes and project scope
Sorat Business offers custom websites, SEO optimization, AI search optimization, SEO content marketing and lead capture forms. The services, deliverables, fees, payment schedule, revisions, hosting, maintenance and timeline for a particular project must be set out in its written proposal or agreement.
A quote request is free and carries no obligation to purchase. No payment is collected through the quote form. Changes to an agreed scope may require a revised price and schedule approved by both parties.
3. Client materials and responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information, branding, images and other materials you supply, and for having the rights and permissions needed to use them. Provide timely feedback and any access required under the project agreement.
Your business remains responsible for reviewing its published content, industry-specific requirements, advertising claims and legal notices. Website services do not substitute for legal, tax or regulatory advice.
4. Intellectual property
Sorat Business's branding and website content may not be copied or used in a way that implies an unauthorized affiliation. You retain your rights in the original materials you provide.
Ownership or licensing of project deliverables, third-party assets, reusable tools and source code must be specified in the project agreement. A quote request does not transfer intellectual property rights or grant a license to project materials.
5. Third-party services
Hosting, search engines, AI platforms, plugins and other third-party services operate under their own terms and availability. Any paid integrations or ongoing subscriptions should be identified in the project agreement.
Sorat Business does not control third-party policy changes, outages, search algorithms or AI-generated responses. Links to external websites, including Sorat Agency, do not make their terms part of your Sorat Business project agreement.
6. SEO and AI results
SEO, content and AI optimization aim to improve how your business is presented and discovered. Search rankings, indexing, AI citations, traffic, lead volume, conversions and revenue are not guaranteed.
Results depend on factors such as competition, your market, website history, content, implementation and changes to external platforms. Any reports or recommendations should be considered in that context.
7. Payments, cancellation and refunds
Fees, deposits, recurring charges, cancellation arrangements and refund eligibility must be disclosed in the written project agreement before you accept paid work. The Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how to raise these questions.
Sorat Agency's real-estate setup fees, subscription plans, edit allowances and turnaround schedules do not apply to Sorat Business unless expressly included in your Sorat Business agreement.
8. Availability and legal rights
We work to keep this website available and accurate, but it may be interrupted or contain errors. General website information is not a binding commitment to deliver a particular project outcome.
Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any project-specific warranties, liability provisions or dispute arrangements must be addressed in the applicable service agreement and remain subject to applicable law.
9. Updates and questions
We may revise these website terms by posting an updated version and revision date. Changes to an existing signed project agreement must follow that agreement's change provisions rather than being made solely through a website update.
For questions about these terms or a proposed project, contact Sorat Business through the website's contact form.
